On January 1, 2024, at 16:10, a magnitude 7 earthquake occurred with its epicenter in the Noto Peninsula. We provided information on our website and to our customers and business partners on January 2, and we would like to update you on the recovery progress.

・Employees:
Some employees who were in Noto during the earthquake experienced various degrees of impact. Currently, almost all employees have returned to work.

・Oshimizu Facility (located in Hodatsushimizu-cho, Ishikawa, Japan experienced seismic intensity 5+):
The building and facilities were not damaged, but there were incidents of fallen items and displacement of equipment. Cleanup, inspection, adjustment, and test operations have been carried out since yesterday, January 5, and normal operation has been restored.

・Kanazawa Facility (located in Tsubata-machi, Ishikawa, Japan experienced seismic intensity 5-):
The building and facilities suffered minimal damage, with fallen items and equipment displacement. Cleanup, inspection, adjustment, and test operations have been carried out since yesterday, January 5, and operations are nearly back to normal. For some precision machinery, operation is expected to resume after inspections by contractors next week.

・Infrastructure:
Electricity, water, and network services are functioning without issues. Transportation services have also been confirmed to be operating normally.

・Regarding production and shipments:
Since January 5, we have been gradually resuming operations, but it will take a few more days for full normal operation. We apologize for any inconvenience, and our company representatives will contact you regarding delivery schedules.
