Regarding earthquake damage to KAGA Japan
Dear customers and business partners,

At 16:10 on January 1, 2024, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 occurred with its epicenter in
Ishikawa Prefecture of Japan where our two factories are based.

We first confirmed the safety of all employees and confirmed that they were safe.
However, because a major tsunami warning had been issued due to the earthquake and aftershocks
were continuing, the factory was not inspected on that day.

On January 2nd, we conducted on-site inspections of the Oshimizu and Kanazawa factories.
Although things were scattered inside the building, we were able to confirm that there was no
damage to the equipment and that there was no major damage to the building.

Only the Kanazawa factory is experiencing a water outage (as of the afternoon of January 2nd).
We expect there will be no big problem to restart operation after January 5th.
However, the restoration of transportation infrastructure remains unconfirmed.

I apologize for your inconvenience this may cause, but we will do our best to restore and reopen.
We look forward to your continued support.

Best Regards,

January 2, 2024

Nobuharu Nozaki
